Read MoreWe’ve found lots of fruit trees in the new garden, including several apple, two pear, two cherry and a plum. I’ve been planning to plant at least one quince tree. I planted one in our last garden. I love quinces. And quince jelly with honey is a product I hope to be able to make regularly.
But then, the other day, I found this in the apiary:
Gold in the grass
Which, unless I am very much mistaken, is a quince. It was lying underneath an overlooked little tree growing by the hedge. It had no other quinces on it, but looks plausibly like a quince tree. Hooray!
Quince tree
